Rick Jey of "Spotlight on the Arts" TV show meets Artists David Plank and Dan Woodward...all known as three of the top artists of Missouri.David Plank at the current age of 89 years...to turn 90 in October 2024, from Salem, Missouri is known for his artwork USA Wide after publishing and illustrating "The Birds of Arkansas in the early 70's followed by his second book entitled..."Birds of Missouri". His detail of each feather and each bird is awesome. Look for his initial interview here on GMN+ TV soon to get the whole picture.
Artist Dan Woodward supports artists from all over the USA now and locally around his home in Rolla, Missouri. Dan was commissioned by the US government to illustrate the Civil War Battles West of the Mississippi a few years ago to gain a following of his art. Each location featured a re-enactment setting enabling Dan the opportunity to produce the enactments in watercolors to a degree of perfection.
